Archeological Museum, etc.

Today, I went to the Archeological Museum with CJ. I was supposed to go with a lot of girls, but they ended up staying out really late yesterday, and they were unable to get up this morning. The museum was pretty amazing. We didn't have any trouble finding it (it was by the big Lemon Squeezer.) I'll have to post a picture of it later.

Although we weren't supposed to take pictures in there, we did anyway. The museum had artifacts from digs all over Sicily from the native Sicles, to the Greeks, to the Romans. It was all pretty amazing. We also ran into Professor Lane and his daughter there, which was a nice surprise.

The museum was offering a great deal--tickets for both it and the Neapolis for €10. We had a bit of a hard time finding our way to the Neapolis, but it was totally worth it. We got to see the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hieron, the Ear of Dionysus, and all these caves. Again, pretty amazing.

So, my feet are killing me, but it was totally worth it. Gonna go back and lie down for a bit. :)
