Angry and Annoyed
So I’ve decided a few things I dislike about Siracusa.
Siesta. I don’t like it when stores are closed and I need to go there.
Everything closed all day on Sundays. Does the school expect us to do homework with no access to computers on Sunday? What are we supposed to do on the weekends, really.
The fact that store owners will not even break a ten. That’s just stupid. Do they expect us to walk around with pockets full of change?
Ridiculously high tips—more than twenty-five percent at times.
Ridiculously expensive food at restaurants. $2 for a can of soda? Please.
Just some ranting. Emily and I walked around all day looking for internet. We must’ve gone to four places, only to be shut down each time. One place said they were open on Sundays from 5:00 to 10:00, but we got there at six and it wasn’t open. That really pissed me off. That was a fifty minute round-trip walk for nothing. Oh well.
Got class in the morning. I’m going early to get on a computer before the horde.
